January 20th was Cody's first day of sparring at karate.  He loved putting on all the gear and getting physical with the other kids.

I got a brand new pair of roller skates....

We went roller skating for the first time in January.  After many unsuccessful attempts at regular skates, Cody wanted to try the roller blades and did SO much better and had a fantastic time with his friends!  Of course I left my camera at home not thinking so I did the best I could with my cell phone.

Upwards Basketball

For Cody's first basketball season, we played with the Upward Basketball league at our local church.  Cody had a great time and his friend and classmate Trey was on the same team.

Since we were still snowed in and Auburn is a two hour trip, we let Cody roll our living room fans.

Long Time, No Blogging...

I've been so busy keeping up with blogging on my public site The Queen of Dilly-Dallying that I haven't caught family and friends up on what is going on here.
We have had not one, not two, but THREE snows this winter!  The biggest was in January.  Here are a few pictures!

Go 'Cudas!

Cody is on the swim team this year at Berkeley Hills Country Club.  He started out as a level 2 Junior Barracuda.  Tuesday he was promoted to level 3!  Here are pictures and video from his first swim meet!
