Little man actually wanted me to play NASCAR with him today. That is very rare! :)
Little man wanted to go to the driving range today. We took him after dinner and he had a BLAST!

GIST

Today's GIST:

• My little man cuddled with me in the bed this morning. NOTHING beats hugs and cuddles from my little guy.
• We picked up my little man's best friend from her school today as a surprise!
• We spent the day with very dear friends.
• I fed a 3 week old and rocked a 1 year old to sleep. I love precious moments with precious little ones.

We are SO blessed! I thank God every day for leading us to Mill Creek Church. The amazing families and people we have come to know and love have touched us so much. Here are a couple of pictures from our play date today.

Easter

MiMi and PaPa came up for Easter and we had lunch at my Aunt's house in Norcross with Bree, Craig and the twins, my grandparents and of course Aunt Beck and Uncle Vinny (yes I have an uncle Vinny). MiMi and Cody put together an Easter bunny house and we colored eggs. That night the Easter bunny brought Cody a lot of great goodies in his Easter basket. Then off to Mill Creek Church, with lunch following. Cody had a great time with Maggie and Mason!!

Catch up

I slacked off my blogging! Time to play some catch up!
Cody and Madi had dinner together in April. It was a huge family affair, complete with moms and dads and little sisters. We always enjoy our time with the Hester family and Cody LOVES being with Madi anytime and anywhere. We had dinner at Mellow Mushroom and then a stop by Cold Stone for yummy ice cream!!

Happy Anniversary!

Happy Anniversary to my wonderful husband! Thank you for putting up with me! I LOVE YOU!

Meeting Fuzzy

He let "Fuzzy" crawl all over his arm and was sad when he had to put it back outside.

Our house grew by 12 feet and 3 fins!

We found Fuzzy the caterpillar yesterday and then again on our doorstep today. Cody finally convinced me to let him keep it and off to Petsmart we went to get a container for him. He has already attached himself to the top of the container so I believe we might have a butterfly here soon!

While we were in Petsmart, my smart boy who doesn't miss a beat reminded me I owed him a fish for being potty trained last year. So what did I do, I let him pick out a beta fish. His name is "Cooler" (why and where that name came from is beyond me) and he lives in Cody's room now.
Hopefully we'll keep at least one of these new pets for longer than 3 days! R.I.P. Fiiiiissssssss (haha)!

What he said just today!

My little man comes up with some strange stuff sometimes. Today is no exception and there were some really crazy ones today! I just thought I would share!

• "The stitches came out and traveled all the way down my body to my toes and tickled me until I couldn't breathe and then traveled all the way back up my body to my head and jumped off!"
• "I'm hungry and I'm thirsty and if you don't get me something right now you are going to ruin my days forever"
• "I'm a NASCAR driver mommy. That means I can drive the truck and you can sit in my car seat. Hey! Why don't you have a car seat for you? That isn't fair!"
• "I'm not eating this pudding. You stuck your tongue on my spoon and I don't want your girl germs."
• "Actually, I need you to call Madi and her mommy and have them come get me and take me to their house. I NEED my Madi NOW!"

And the BEST thing he has EVER said came a little while ago.

• "Mommy, we all need to be superheroes like Jesus!" I simply replied...Yes baby...yes we sure do!

I figured out the signature!!

So now I can sign my blog! Isn't it cute?!

Better Trades formal dinner

Dennis's company had their annual meeting in Atlanta this year. On Saturday night, they had a formal dinner and awards banquet. It was fun to get dressed up and have a 4 course meal without kids! It was at The Westin North Atlanta and it was beautiful!

Dennis was presented with an award for his commitment to his team and to the company. It was great that he was recognized for his hard work and LONG hours away from me and Cody through the last 5 months. I was SO proud of him!

My poor little guy

He is noting but a big mess these days! He had a freak accident at the Chick-fil-a playground Thursday. He fell coming off the slide and hit his lip on the bench. It busted WIDE open so we were off to Scottish Rite to have his lip sutured up. He got 3 sutures right below his lip.
